SUPERVISORY SPAN: All staff in the plant
PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS: Degree in an Engineering Discipline preferably with an MBA (or knowledge of Finance and
Management) Minimum of 10 years of industrial experience with at least 5 years in a management role and at
least 2 years in senior management in a manufacturing environment. Good communication skill, experience working cross culturally, a team player and one who is
able to committed to the pursuit of excellence and perform work with integrity and trust.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership in establishing the business vision and strategy and aligning efforts at all
levels towards the achievement of business objectives and the effective deployment of the
business strategy. Put in place world class processes that are designed to meet customer requirements and provide
customer satisfaction Plan, develop and implement budgets for the business unit Ensure that the various management systems (e.g. TS16949, ISO9000) etc are firmly in place and
functioning Monitor and review business unit performance, champion and focus continuous improvement efforts
that will lead to improved performance Train and develop local talent at all levels in line with Textron requirements and expectations
for improved business performance Establish a culture based on integrity, trust, respect and the pursuit of excellence Participate in strategic planning session as part of the regional top management team. Liaise with internal and external parties representing TFS in the region such as government
departments, sub-contractors, other Textron businesses, etc. Ensuring that the company conducts its business with the highest levels of business ethics and
in line with Textron compliance guidelines Commit to Environment, Health and Safety excellence in all operations. Conduct monthly EHS
plant audits Ensure that plant operating metrics are performing and making progress towards the achievement
of targets. Champion various continuous improvement efforts in the plant such as Inventory reduction, cost
reduction, etc. | |
