Job Description: Establishes goals and objectives for purchasing department. Manage and lead a team of buyers and expeditors to meet procurement and supplier management objectives Interface with procurement groups in updating and maintaining company procurement strategies Implement processes with suppliers to improve on time delivery Implement Vendor Managed Inventory models Supervise the team in the management of the supply chain to achieve continuous timely supply of parts and services Prepares, approves and issues purchase orders and change notices through subordinates. Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy. Ensures continuity of raw material supply to support production schedules and balances with achieving inventory level targets. Analyzes inventory levels. Supports process to manage excess and obsolete material. Conduct supplier performance reviews and support the team to maintain supplier consistent on time delivery and implement processes with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and quality of product / service Manage the sourcing of new supply bases for competitive pricing, quality and reliable products Keep senior management informed of present/future trends in availability and cost of materials, components and equipment Monitors on-time supplier deliveries, inventory turns, MRP execution, Purchase Price Variance, lead-time reduction, supplier performance and cost analysis. Act as first point of escalation with suppliers and communicate all unresolved issues to the Senior Purchasing Manager Job Requirements: With 5+ years working experiences Bachelor’s Degree or above With good Procurement experience Good English communication skills Good management skills Strongly engaged and motivated Self dependent work behavior, flexibility and the ability for continuous learning | |
