Job Description:
1.Assist Business Unit Manager to drive the cross-functional team to achieve business target by meeting costumer’s requirements in terms of timely delivery, quality, and process conformance and test procedures.   
2.Provide innovative solutions to customer needs and ownership of profit center or business unit economics: absolute profits, margins, etc.
3.Project Lead for overall  preparation and coordination of NPI (New Product Introduction) from SMT (PCBA)  to Box build  (System Build) and with the objectives of best quality at no or minimal risk.  
4.Responsible for the account’s P&L.
5.Lead the CFT team to ensure achieves customer target & expectation.
6.Leading NPI & Engineering team to drive the APQP process and Risk analysis before mass production released.  
7.Coordinate in driving continuous Improvement Plan/ action to bring up product quality, reduce operation costs.
8.Good project management skills and communications on commercial and technical claims.
9.Facilitate the product launching and making it known to the customers.
10.Keep updates with production of new products from project planning to production.
11.Evaluate the products review given by the customers.
12.Ensure that product schedules are followed during its development.
13.Work with inter department team ( Manufacturing, QA, Logistics, Material and planning ) who are involved in product development.
14.Negotiate with manufacturers and suppliers to meet the company and customers expectations. 
15.Make project cost estimates including the resources, capital and other requirements to make the project successful.
16.Conduct meetings with suppliers to improve the new products and processes.
17.Offer the best solution that will cater the needs of the customer while making sure that the company will be productive and can save a lot in the process.
18.Coordinate with the customers regarding new product specifications and features.

Job Requirements:
1.Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training. A Master's or MBA degree is preferred. Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of engineering experience, including supervision.
2.Demonstrates strong Technical project management skills in handling internal team and customer team
3.Demonstrates mastery of expertise in PCBA process, Mechanical system assembly and process in conformal coating and potting solutions.
4.Demonstrates knowledge in high reliability industries standard and/certification and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site. 
5.To perform the major job responsibilities the use of the following tools may be required:  Office Skills: typing, telephones, data entry, HR related and office software to include, word processing, spread sheets, and presentation packages. Must have a good knowledge of employment law and company practices, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
6.Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. 
7.Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. 
8.Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
9.Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
10.Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
11.Candidate who certified with 6 Sigma Black belt and experience in obtain TS16949 certification are added advantage.
12.Demonstrates experience in performance development, teaching/leading, mentoring and/or organization development. Instills appropriate behavior in others in support of Flextronics values. 
13.Supports strategic direction for the function and develop subject matter expert and standardize best practices for the critical processes.
14.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
15.May spend most of their time away from the desk in the production floor where new products are being developed. NPI Manager is usually onsite where they visit the engineering department, checking on the production staff and looking for any problems along the production process.
