Quality Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning & Allocateing
Develop and implement department plan, allocate department target to subordinates; monitor their performance and drive overall target achievement in order to meet Raychem CIS Shanghai Plant's annual plan.
 
Procedures
Oversee the implementation of plant quality procedures and systems; and monitor the implementation of QS System within the entire plant in order to to provide working guidelines for employees and ensure that local procedures are in line with QS and global standards.
 
People Management and Development
Allocate and balance work across direct reports; review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports; mentor, develop and motivate them;
and resolve people/functional issues in the team in order to achieve targeted department performance.
 
Quality System
Set up and monitor the implementation of the quality systems (including internal audit systems, product reliability, etc); supervise the document control activities; visit quality agencies to maintain a harmonized relationship; and provide feedback regarding the quality-related best practices in order to ensure plant's quality system meets ISO and customers' standards.
 
Quality Engineering
Determine the quality requirements for new products; resolve quality-related customer complaints and NCR (non-confirming report) issues; conduct quality audit on suppliers; and prepare the quality audit related documents for clients and quality agencies in order to ensure that the quality of products meet specification and customer requirements.
 
Quality Control
Supervise the implementation of quality control for income/in-process/final inspections; review and approve the quality control reports; coordinate quality issues with process engineers at in-process production in order to reduce quality problems within the production.
 
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree with technical background
Minimum 8 years working experience (including 3 years management experience).                                                             
Familiar with quality control process and quality improvement.
Familiar with TS16949 and ISO9001, as well as quality improvement tools.
Good communication in both writing and oral.
